Desire To Inspire

Remember when we told you that our goal is to inspire you to quilt and sew more? We've been creating different ideas to help you with that goal. Have you been following along Jill Finley's [Jillily Studiospdq* Club [pretty darn quick] so far? Her projects so far have been darling and easy. Check back each month to see her new projects. You can find the projects all labeled with "pdq Club" along the right sidebar.

Today we'd like to introduce you to our Desire To Inspire Challenge. We want to challenge YOU to sew or quilt something from our fabric. We found our initial challengers on our Facebook wall and through referrals. These quilters showed us some finished projects that they had made and we asked them if they would take our challenge. Lucky for us, they jumped at the chance.

[L: Barbara Malgioglio, R: Linda Parillo]

How does it work? You send us a photo of something that you've sewn or quilted. If the photograph catches our attention, you could be selected to be a challenger. We send you some fabric [randomly selected from our most current lines] to play with. You will not know which fabric you have to work with until the box arrives on your doorstep. You have about three weeks to design and sew something fabulous. You keep the design and the finished project but you need to send us some great photographs of the finished project. We will show off the project on our blog. Oh yes, we will interview you too! Does it sound like fun? Get busy and send us the photographs to hginfo[at]att[dot]net. [Please note that the e-mail has been updated.]

Today we have our first challenger. We sent her some fabric from the Bee Happy line by Shelly Comisky.  Let's see what our challenger made with this happy and bright line.
